Thimphu, the capital city, is a blend of tradition and modernity. Here, you can witness the majestic Buddha Dordenma statue, standing tall and serene, offering a sense of peace and tranquility. The city is also home to the fascinating Takin Zoo, where you can encounter the unique and rare takin, Bhutan's national animal. Exploring Thimphu is incomplete without a visit to the Tashichho Dzong, the administrative seat of the Bhutanese government and the summer residence of the revered monk body. Additionally, the Dochula Pass, located en route to Punakha, presents a panoramic vista of the Himalayas, accompanied by 108 memorial chortens that pay homage to Bhutan's kings and symbolize the well-being of all beings. As the journey continues to Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan, you will be captivated by the Punakha Dzong. This architectural marvel, located at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and Po Chhu rivers, exudes grandeur and holds deep spiritual significance. The Punakha Dzong not only showcases the country's rich heritage but also hosts the annual Punakha Tshechu, a vibrant festival celebrated with colorful mask dances. No visit to Bhutan is complete without experiencing the iconic Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger's Nest Temple. Perched precariously on a cliff face in Paro, this sacred site offers a challenging yet rewarding trekking experience. As you ascend, the breathtaking views and the sense of spirituality will leave an indelible mark on your soul.

Did the Spiti circuit with them. Great mix of stays, food and free time. The group was fun and the on-ground team handled everything including a weather change. Worth every rupee.
