Itinerary

Day 0: Start with your overnight journey from Bangalore to Munnar

  • Day 0: Start with your overnight journey from Bangalore to Munnar.
  • The road trip from Bangalore commences at 7 P.M.
  • Drive through the breathtaking highway of Southern India. The 500 km distance takes about 11-12 hours to complete.

Day 1: Photo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point & Kalaripayattu Culture Show.

  • Welcome the beautiful day with the misty mountains of Munnar as you approach the Ghat section. The winding roads will take you to our stay in the outskirts region.
  • (Note: The usual check-in time for Munnar stays is around 12 noon. Hence we will use washrooms to freshen up and put luggage in the common area before going for the day plan.)
  • Start your day by admiring the breathtaking views of the Ghat section's misty mountains as you arrive in Munnar. Head to Photo Point for a stunning view of the surrounding tea plantation.
  • Visit the Mattupetty Dam a concrete gravity dam. Have Lunch at a local off beat place. Note that food options are limited in this place.
  • Visit Echo point for scenic view and capture good pictures. Visit Kalaripayattu Culture Show which is the highlight of the day & the oldest martial art form of Kerala.
  • Return to your accommodation and prepare for a fun evening with your new friends at the bonfire.

Day 2: Breathtaking view at Kolukkumalai  - Visit the Jaguar rock viewpoint- Hike to a Private Waterfalls - Overnight journey from Munnar

  • Wake up early in the morning and start your day with a private trek to a waterfall that is secluded in a tea estate. You can take a dip or relax by the waterfall and enjoy the serene beauty.
  • Return to the property to freshen up and have your breakfast. Have a heavy Breakfast with traditional black tea of Munnar. 
  • After breakfast, check out and head for Shopping time. Stop over at a nearby market to buy different varieties of tea, spices, and goodies to carry back home.
  • Head towards Kolukkumalai which is the highest tea estate in the world and offers breathtaking views of the sunrise. And, visit the Jaguar Rock viewpoint, which is a popular spot for photography.
  • Take a pit stop for lunch and Depart back to Bangalore by evening and reach the city next morning.

Day 3: Reach back home with amazing trip memories

  • The next early morning we reach Bangalore via the same scenic route.
  • You reach home with a backpack full of amazing memories, stories and experiences. You will have an energetic tale to brag about at family dinner or parties.
